Firefighters from Lewiston were called to the scene of a fire at 34 Nichols St. at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday. The fire at the single-family home attracted a crowd of people lining the street. A spokesman for the Lewiston Fire Department was unavailable for comment Sunday night and the cause of the blaze was unknown. Lewiston police officers cleared the scene shortly before 10 p.m.
