AUBURN – International Association of Approved Basketball Officials (IABBO) 21 will be holding rules instruction clinics for prospective basketball officials. Candidates must be 18 or older to take the test and work in the 2008-09 season. If you have played the game, still enjoy being involved in basketball and would like to make extra money, this may be a good outlet for you.
The first class will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20 at Edward Little High School.
There is no cost to participate. No pre-registration is necessary.
A test will be given Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. at ELHS. For more information, contact Barry Fuller at EchoFarmWB@aol.com.
Lisbon youth league meeting
LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon Junior Athletic League will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 at MTM Center in Lisbon Falls.
The league has open positions in all divisions. It also is seeking a player agent, a sponsor manager and a fund-raising coordinator.
