The St. Dominic Regional High School varsity sports teams were very successful during their Homecoming weekend games. The Boy’s and Girl’s Varsity Soccer teams defeated Gray/New Gloucester. The boy’s won by a score of 4 to 0, and the girl’s won with a score of 2 to 1. The Girl’s Varsity Field Hockey team won 1 to 0 against North Yarmouth Academy in a closely contested game. The Boys and Girls JV Soccer teams each played EL and won. The Freshman Boy’s Soccer team played Lewiston and lost. Each team had many fans cheering them on throughout the games. It was a great day for our teams!

The Bob Boucher Memorial 5k was held the next day in remembrance of Mr. Bob Boucher, a long time teacher and coach at the school. After the 5k, there was an alumni soccer game held on the fields in which former St. Dom’s athletes played against the current teams. The weekend as a whole was a great opening of the school year and helped to enliven the St. Dom’s spirit.
