LEWISTON – It’s a big week this week in high school football, with a pair of battles pitting unbeaten teams against one another.

Locally, Dirigo will host Winthrop in a test of Class C supremacy, with the Ramblers coming off of four straight shutouts, and Dirigo at 6-0 for the first time since anyone can remember.

In Class A, Skowhegan and Lawrence will tangle to determine top billing in Eastern A, while Lewiston and Edward Little warm-up against lesser opponents for a showdown the following week.

Leavitt will look to rebound, Oak Hill needs to keep winning to improve its playoff seeding, and Lisbon will try to continue on its roll after losing way back in Week 1.
