ROXBURY – Town meeting voters in March raised $15,000 for summer roads of which about $3,000 remains. The town doesn’t maintain East Shore Drive, a private road. On Friday, a hired contractor was to repair the upper Main Street hump by scraping it down, then fix Roxbury Pond Road at the bottom of the hill where logging trucks tore up new pavement over two culverts. He will also look at Old County Road.

The correction and clarifications pertain to a story that ran on B1 in Thursday’s River Valley edition. The information was incorrectly reported by the Sun Journal.
