AUBURN – Caleb Davis scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime as Edward Little squeaked out a 1-0 victory over Cony in KVAC boys’ soccer action Friday.

After three scoreless frames, Davis recovered a deflection that came out of a crowd on a free kick and redirect it into the lower left corner of the cage for the Red Eddies (9-2-2).

Goalie Blake Doucette made 16 saves for the Rams (3-7-2), while Josh Mains prevented four for Edward Little to earn the shutout.

Lisbon 1, Telstar 0

BETHEL – George Clement scored off a free kick midway through the first half to lift Lisbon a 1-0 victory over Telstar.;

Cam Bubar assisted on Clement’s goal. Derek Lysette made two saves in goal for the Greyhounds (13-1), while Josh Putnam made 15 stops for Telstar (9-2-3).

Lewiston 5, Oxford Hills 1

LEWISTON – Alex Wong scored the eventual game-winning goal as Lewiston cruised to a 5-1 victory over Oxford Hills in KVAC boys’ soccer action Friday.

The Blue Devils (7-5-1) jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead. Ben McDonough scored the first goal from 25 yards out and sent it just under the crossbar. Wong converted a long throw-in from Josh Pelletier.

Obed Sawior cut the Devils’ lead in half, 2-1, with the first goal of the second stanza. Matt Beauparland, Ali Hersi and Subeer Osman responded with three unanswreed tallies.

Goalies Tyler Truman and D.J. Newell combined for 19 saves for Oxford Hills, while Chris Jacques turned back four for Lewiston in the winning effort.

Freeport 2, St. Dom’s 1

FREEPORT – Ryan Farley and Cody Bartlett each scored a goal as Freeport edged St. Dom’s 2-1 in WMC boys’ soccer action Friday.

The Saints (10-3) cut their deficit in half midway through the second stanza when Jack Erickson fed a thrown ball to senior forward Matt Barlion, who beat the defender and booted the ball into the back of the net.

Goalie Nick Brigham made six saves for St. Dom’s, while Ben Boutin turned away seven for the Falcons.
