TOPSHAM – J.J. Musse converted a pass from Matt Beauparlant with 31:28 remaining in the first half as Lewiston rocked Mt. Ararat in the KVAC regular-season finale.
Mt. Ararat was ranked third in the latest Heal Point rankings, while Lewiston was ninth.
Musse collected Beauparlant’s cross in a full run, took one dribble that put the ball into a bounce, then fired it into the right side for the game-winner.
Chris Jacques made three saves to record the shutout, while Matt Bickford turned back four shots in net for Mt. Ararat.
Oxford Hills 3, Cony 2
AUGUSTA – Riley Eusden scored on a corner kick with 10:10 left as Oxford Hills rallied back from a 2-0 deficiti to post a 3-2 victory over Cony in a KVAC regular-season boys’ soccer finale Tuesday.
Alex White scored twice for the Vikings (3-10-1), while Obed Siawor and Derek Morin added assists. Ron St. John and Tyler Truman combined for 11 saves.
The Rams (3-11) received goals from Calvin Forbes and Mike Conners. Blake Doucette turned back 22 shots between the posts for Cony.
Edward Little 3, Morse 0
BATH – Caleb Davis netted a pair of goals Tuesday as Edward Little finished off the regular season with a 3-0 victory over Morse.
Brandon Lever also tallied for the Red Eddies (10-2-2) to complete the scoring. Josh Mains made five saves to notch the shutout.
Lincoln Weiss turned aside 10 shots between the posts for Morse (3-8-3).
Sacopee Valley 2, Poland 0
SOUTH HIRAM – Sacopee Valley put up a goal in each half Tuesday as they held on for a 2-0 victory over Poland.
Blais Whitney tallied both goals for the Hawks (7-6-1), with assists by Nick Bacchiano on the first goal and Mitch Watson on the second.
Josh Benson made three saves to record the shutout. The Knights (2-12) saw Mike Littlefield turn back 11 shots between the posts.
NYA 2, Gray-New Gloucester 0
GRAY – Cameron Smith and Sebastian Persson each tallied a goal Tuesday as North Yarmouth Academy pulled out a 2-0 victory over Gray-New Gloucester.
Henry Sterling also contributed for the Panthers (4-8-2) with an assist on Sterling’s goal. Chris Green made eight saves in net to record the shutout.
Ryan Cavalaro handled netkeeping chores for the Patriots (4-10), turning back nine shots in the game.
