AUGUSTA – Community Concepts, with offices in Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties, announces that the Maine Department of Human Services has approved it as a children’s behavioral health case management provider.

The new distinction allows Community Concepts to help families that receive MaineCare and have a child with a mental health diagnosis connect to formal and informal supports.

Community Concepts will be able to accept referrals of dependents up to 20 years old, receive MaineCare and have a mental health diagnosis (or will after they see a clinician). Recognizing the importance of family, case management specialists will work with them to identify support services including doctors, counselors and community groups.
