SOUTH PARIS – The Rape Education and Crisis Hotline announces the addition of Lauren Dembski to its staff as an educator.

She will be responsible for developing and presenting age-appropriate child safety curricula in Oxford County schools for students in grades K-12, and providing community education. She is also a REACH advocate and has been volunteering in that role for the past three years, which inspired her to seek the educator’s position as it combines social work, teaching and prevention, and empowering individuals.

Prior to joining REACH, Dembski worked in the social services field, most recently employed by Tri-County Mental Health Services as a children’s case manager, where she was responsible for developing individualized plans, utilized a strength-based approach, and conducted psychosocial assessments.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in administration of criminal justice from the University of Maine in Augusta. She lives in Norway.
