LEWISTON – Deborah Taylor, associate director of the Central Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, has been elected to the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine board of directors. The STFM is an international, multidisciplinary, medical organization of nearly 4,800 family medicine educators that serves as the professional educational home for all family medicine residency educators.

As a member of the STFM board, Taylor represents the interests of community-based and rural family medicine residency programs at a national level. Her term as a board member extends for three years.

In her role as a faculty member of the CMMC Family Medicine Residency Program, Taylor coordinates behavioral science educational activities and assists with administration of the residency program.
