FARMINGTON – The United Way of the Tri-Valley Area will hold its annual charity auction on Saturday, Nov. 15 in the Ben Franklin Center’s Bass Room, Franklin Memorial Hospital. Auction preview will begin at 5 p.m., with bidding on live and silent auction items starting at 6.
Those who attend the auction will be able to bid on a wide range of items, including handmade furniture, a kayak package, guide trips, vacations, fitness center memberships and massages.
Money raised helps the United Way of the Tri-Valley Area reach its campaign goal of $395,000 this year to support initiatives that impact the community. They range from the Meals on Wheels program to domestic violence prevention programs.
The auction is free and open to the public. There will be hors d’oeuvres. RSVP to 778-5048.
