AUBURN – The annual ticket auction will be held Sunday, Nov. 2, by the John F. Murphy Homes Life Center and Navigator Community Support Programs.
The auction will be held at the Edward Little High School gym. The doors will open at 2 p.m. for a preview of more than 300 items that area businesses have contributed, including toys, tools, household items, clothing, movies and gift certificates. The drawing will begin at 4 p.m.
There will be $5, $10 and $20 envelopes, a dollar table and a 50/50 raffle.
Hot dogs, chili, American chop suey, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.
The Life Center and Navigator support programs are community-based for young adults with developmental disabilities. The goal is to support individuals to build skills toward greater independence.
The programs do that building relationships in the community, exploring the arts, encouraging a healthy lifestyle, experiencing the joy of volunteering and offering opportunities to improve skills for daily living.
