JAY – The Maine Country Music Association will put on a Country Sunday, Nov. 2, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Jay Community Building on Route 4. This semiannual event begun five years ago will feature many of Maine’s country music artists.

Some of the performers are members of the Maine Country Music Hall of Fame and others may be some day. Tentatively scheduled for the upcoming show are Rock ‘N’ Country with Lorelei Dodge and Art Ploof; hall-of-famer Slim Andrews; Bub Burhoe and Doug Matthews; The Crosbys, hall-of-famer Bing and Nancy; Cacky Bean; Jim G; and Jim Palmer.

There will be refreshments, door prizes, a 50-50 raffle and country friendship. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and MCMA members, $3 for children 5 to 15; and children under 5 admitted free. For more information, call Bing Crosby at 645-2472.
