LEWISTON – Local audiences can see the last public performance this year of the murder mystery, “Death with Father,” performed by Maine’s professional troupe, Mystery for Hire.

The murder mystery dinner theater production will be hosted by the Holy Cross Knights of Columbus Council 12,652 on Saturday Nov. 8, and will be performed in the church hall, 1080 Lisbon St. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m.

“The show is a real favorite, ” said Denise Marois, who operates Mystery for Hire with her husband, Dan, in a Maine-based professional troupe that specializes in murder mystery dinner theater.

Audience members are encouraged to take notes as they watch the mystery. When a crime takes place, they become amateur detectives who try to figure out “whodunit?” At the end of the evening, the person who most correctly guessed who did the crime is the “Super Sleuth” of the evening.

Tickets for the show are $35 a person, which includes a chicken cordon bleu dinner and the mystery show.
