NORWAY – PACE Paramedic Service has hired Sue Yurek, paramedic.

Yurek, who lives in Bath, has ties to the area with her mother, and many family members residing in Bridgton. She is familiar with the community and is glad to be serving here.

She is a Bates College graduate with a bachelor of arts in political science. She received her paramedic training at Southern Maine EMS and graduated first in her class. She became familiar with the PACE service while performing 156 hours of clinical time here. She has also worked for Northeast Ambulance Service.

When not serving the community as a paramedic, Yurek is a stay-at-home mother of two.
