Antiques fair

RUMFORD – An antiques, collectibles and craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, in the Muskie Room of the Muskie Building, 20 Congress St., using the Congress and Bridge Street entrances. Veterans’ tribute

RUMFORD – Robert Shands Post 1641, Veterans of Foreign Wars, has invited veterans and their families to the veterans’ memorial Mass and Veterans’ Day tribute.

The Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at St. Athanasius St. John’s Church, Main Street.

The tribute will take place Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Mountain Valley High School, Hancock Street. Veterans will line up at 9:30 a.m. and the tribute will be held at 10.

A reception will follow at noon at the John Elward Hall, 330 Waldo St.

Sliders to meet

ROXBURY – The Roxbury Slippery Sliders snowmobile club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the home of Raymond and Sylvia Touchette.
