READFIELD – Join the talented drama students of Maranacook Community High School for a night of comedy and fast-paced action with “Dinner and a Show.” The first act is set in a restaurant where speed dating takes on new meaning in “Check Please” by Jonathan Rand.

Have you ever wondered what those voices inside your head would look like if personified? “Reservations” by Lisa Rand answers that very question. The second half of this year’s fall production is staged in the living room of a not-so-typical family in “Drugs Are Bad.” Our final offering is a play within a play within a play within a … and the plot always changes whenever a director yells, “Cut” by Ed Monk.

The shows are directed by Coleman and Kathleen Nation. Cast members include Adrienne Nel, Chase Gaewski, Colton Laferriere, Cassidy Keister, Kasey Kelley, Chelsea McLaughlin, Mary Taylor, Ben Barnes, Courtney Gilman, Sarah Adams, Lyndsay Canwell, Mikayla Hentschel, Abbey Santos, Molly Caldwell, Willow Rasmussen and Michael Roche. Technical crew include Ryan Fish, Taylor Stevenson, Maggie Ditre and Sarah Franzel.

Showtimes are Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., Nov. 14 at 7 p.m., Nov. 15 at 8 p.m., and Nov. 16 at 2 p.m., at Maranacook Community High School, 2250 Millard Harrison Drive, Readfield. Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, and $7 for adults. Tickets available at door.
