Balloon fest winners announced for 2008

LEWISTON – The 2008 Great Falls Balloon Festival photo contest winners have been announced.

Best of Show was taken by Earl Williams of Sabattus.

Other winners were: first, adult, Sandy Turcotte of Lewiston; second, adult, Carolyn Perkins of Turner; third, adult, Michael Newman of Buxton.

First, under 18, Stephanie Wallingford of Minot; second, under 18, Danille Plante of New Gloucester; third, under 18, Mary Beth Moyer of Lewiston.

Honorable mentions, Scott Record of Lewiston, Brentt Coro of Monmouth and Gillian Fenner of Poland.

The winning photos and 10 additional photos will be on display during November in the Beaaker Gallery at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and in January at Central Maine Medical Center.
