Veterans Day is the day we honor our veterans, and it is held on Nov. 11. That is the day World War I ended with the Armistice, signed at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11.

It is fitting that people remember the veterans of all wars. They fought for the freedoms that are all too often taken for granted. We are fortunate that we live in a country where it is possible to attend the church of our choice, vote for whomever we deem to be the best candidate, work where we choose to, and have freedom of speech.

We are truly blessed.

But jealousy and greed have taken over in many aspects of life, and that is why there are so many bad things happening today all over the world.

God bless America.

People must wake up, go back to the very principles that those brave souls fought for, and many gave their life for, before it’s too late, if it isn’t, already.
