RUMFORD – The River Valley Technology Center, Growth Council and Chamber of Commerce plan another Business Lunch and Learn opportunity, “Marketing Basics,” from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Nov. 19 at the Technology Center, 60 Lowell St.
The cost is $10 and includes lunch. Chamber members pay $8. Pre-payment is required; there will be no refunds issued. Pre-registration is required by calling Beverly at 369-0396 or e-mail beverly@rvgc.org by Nov. 17.
The seminar will explore principles of marketing and how they influence strategies. Participants will learn about competitive advantages; market research; advertising strategies and a general understanding of how to be more appealing to their target market.
The presenter is Gregory Gould, a certified business counselor in the Auburn office of the Maine Small Business Development Center hosted by AVCOG. Gould holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing and a master’s degree in business administration, both from the University of Rhode Island.
