SOUTH CARTHAGE – New England Celtic Arts will present multi-award-winning Canadian fiddler Samantha Robichaud at Skye Theatre Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Nov. 13, in South Carthage at 7 p.m. A preshow jam will start at 6:30 p.m. Audience members are encouraged to bring their instruments and jam for a few minutes with the artists.

With more than 200 awards to her credit, at 21, Samantha Robichaud is classed as one of Canada’s best. Robichaud has evolved a smooth unique feel and sound to her fiddle playing and sweet singing style. Her vivacious personality and lively youthful presentation truly present her as an exceptionally talented upcoming force to be reckoned with. With the addition of Acadian roots, her playing is further enriched through a deep love and respect of her cultural background.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. Skye Theatre is located 3 miles west of East Dixfield village at 2 Highland Drive, off Winter Hill Road and Route 2 in South Carthage.
