PORTLAND – Comedian Vic Henley comes to Maine for an exclusive, one night show to benefit the Cancer Community Center at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, at the Abromson Center at the University of Southern Maine in Portland.

Henley has appeared on Comedy Central, “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show” and Country Music Television’s “20 Greatest Redneck Moments.” He is also the co-author of “Games Rednecks Play,” with fellow comedian Jeff Foxworthy. His southern humor and insightful views make him one of comedy’s rising stars.

Joining Henley is “Maine’s Funniest Mom,” Karen Morgan. Morgan is an attorney turned full-time mom turned stand-up comedienne. She found so much humor being a mom in Maine, that she took her observations and unique comedic style on the road as a stand-up comedienne. Morgan tours nationally and is heard every other week on the Coast Morning Show (93.1) as well as WCSH’s 207 series.

Join Henley and Morgan as they combine their humor and observations about life to show us how laughter is the best medicine. Tickets are $25 for general seating and $35 for reserved seating. Tickets can be ordered online at www.CancerCommunityCenter.org or by calling the Cancer Community Center at 774-2200.
