BRUNSWICK – Brunswick and Topsham artist studios, galleries and businesses are open late on Nov. 14, for the Second Friday ArtWalk, from 5-8 p.m.

The Second Friday ArtWalk features 20 exhibits, open studios and receptions. Visit artists’ studios to see work in progress and stay in town for “Après Art” entertainment later in the evening.

This month the self-guided gallery walk includes four studio openings in Fort Andross’ ground floor. Visit the studio of sculptor Bill Zingaro, and see recent sculptural landscapes in aluminum and steel. His studio is near woodworker and fine furniture maker Kevin Rodel and sculpture studio of Isabelle Pelissier. Right down the hall, stop by the publication party celebrating “Lullaby,” a collaborative effort by Freeport book artist Rebecca Goodale and Applecart Press. Upstairs in Fort Andross, visit artists’ studios, Frontier Cafe, and Coleman Burke’s “Down Back” installation.

Another highlight of the ArtWalk is “Inside the Old High School” at Frank Brockman Studio. Sarah Brayman has photographed this Brunswick landmark since 2006. Her exhibit will show through the month with additional hours. At Bayview Gallery take in “Holiday Season Preview” by the gallery’s artists. Kat Logan opens her studio and Maine Street Art for the evening and new work is on view across town.

The Second Friday Art Walk is held May through December in Brunswick and Topsham. In December, the ArtWalk kicks off Arts Downtown & All Around, a weekend of art exhibits and open studios across the region with shows in Bath, Brunswick, Bowdoinham and surrounding communities. The Second Friday ArtWalk is presented by Five Rivers Arts Alliance with the support of Season Sponsor Waterfront Maine. Complete listings are at www.fiveriversartsalliance.org.
