FARMINGTON – Brunswick native Elizabeth M. Scott will be in Farmington and Weld for book signings on Nov. 15.

Scott’s children’s book, “Adventures with Mama Scottie and the Kids,” published by iUniverse, was released Oct. 27, 2008. It is currently available at barnes&noble.com and amazon.com. The book is illustrated by Kay Whytock Jackson of Weld.

The story is for children of all ages and has a Maine setting. Scott brings to life her dolls and stuffed animals and depicts life’s adventures through the view point of these “kids.”

The book signing in Farmington will be held at the Touch of Class thrift shop on Wilton Road, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The book signing in Weld will be held at the multipurpose room at the Weld town office from 2-4 p.m., also on Nov. 15.

Scott is a retired postmaster of Dryden and East Wilton Post Offices. Jackson is town treasurer for Weld.
