BELFAST (AP) – A 49-year-old Belfast man has been charged with operating an unlicensed car dealership out of his home.

According to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Matteo Adragna was charged Wednesday.

David Guilmette, director of the bureau’s Office of Investigations, said consumers who buy vehicles from unlicensed dealers have no legal recourse if they later have problems with those vehicles.

He said a motor vehicles investigator searched Adragna’s home and came away with records that detailed the alleged sale of used cars from his home.
