WEST PERU – The wedding of Liza Rose Putnam and Thomas Christopher Virgin was held at 11 a.m. on July 12 at the home of the parents of the bride, where the reception also took place. Officiating at the ceremony was Cynthia Giroux, notary public.
Mrs. Virgin is the daughter of Wayne and Gail Putnam of Peru. Mr. Virgin is the son of Perry Virgin and Brenda Curtis of Peru.
The maid of honor was Judy Penley, friend of the bride, and the best man was Nathan Putnam, brother of the bride and friend of the bridegroom. The ring bearer was the couple’s dog, Amos.
The bride graduated from Dirigo High School in 2004 and is currently employed at Mrs. B’s Village Store and the town of Peru, both located in Peru.
The bridegroom graduated from Dirigo High School in 2003 and is currently employed by SAD 21 in Dixfield and Virgin’s Auto Electric in Peru.
The couple is residing in Peru.
