HOLLIS, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire officials have identified the victim of a weekend fire in Hollis.

State fire Marshal William Degnan says Donald Purcell died in Saturday’s fire. The cause of death was the result of smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the Degnan’s office, and the Hollis Fire and Police departments.

In another home fire, this one in Dover, authorities officially identified the man who died Sunday as 61-year-old Daniel McDevitt. McDevitt lived in the home alone.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated; Dover Deputy Fire Chief Eric Hagman said officials still believe improper disposal of smoking materials caused the blaze.
