FREEPORT – Wolfe’s Neck Farm will hold its annual Children’s Night Tree and Chili Fest from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

The event is a celebration of children, winter and friendly woodland animals. Children will participate in a read aloud of “The Night Tree” by Eve Bunting, create edible crafts for woodland animals and then go into the woods to hang their ornaments among the trees and shrubs and to enjoy hot cocoa and marshmallows by a campfire.

There will be five sessions starting on the hour at 10 a.m., with the last beginning at 2 o’clock. Each session is limited to 20 children.

Ongoing during the event will be a chili lunch and bake sale in the Little River Farm House. Reservations are required for the children’s activities, but not for the chili lunch. Cost is $6 per participating child.For more information, call 865-4469 or visit www.wolfesneckfarm.org.
