LEWISTON – Roland M. Roy and Diane J. Biron of Music by MAGIC have teamed up with chef Dan Caron, director of The Green Ladle, and pastry chef Katie Liguori, to present a culinary and musical “taste” of Christmas Saturday, Dec. 13.

The two chefs, both instructors for the Lewiston Regional Technical Center’s culinary arts program, will have their students research appetizers, soups, breads and desserts from various countries around the world.

Under the tutelage of their instructors, students will prepare and serve these dishes at The Green Ladle, the culinary arts program’s new restaurant on the LHS campus.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Music by MAGIC, made up of Biron and Roy along with soloist Joanne Fuller and percussionist Conrad Soucy. The group will perform carols from England, Wales, Denmark, France, Germany and other countries.

Audience members will be provided with the lyrics and will be invited to sing along. There will be a Christmas trivia contest and door prizes.

Cost is $15. The Green Ladle can accommodate parties of up to 14 per table. Seating is limited and by reservation only. To make reservations and for more information, call 782-5457 or 946-7084.
