FREEPORT – The Southern Maine Children’s Chorus, 80-plus singers from Yarmouth to Lisbon Falls to Owls Head, will present its annual holiday concert Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Freeport Performing Arts Center.
The chorus is part of the USM Youth Ensembles program managed by the University of Southern Maine’s school of music.
Under the direction of Lise Dunn, the concert will include performances by the concert choir, an a cappella choir and the training choir. Among the songs to be presented are “Stars,” “Orkney Lullaby,” the English carol “Ding Dong Merrily On High,” “On This Still Silent Night,” “Prayer of the Children,” “La Violette,” “I Will Rejoice” and “Night of Silence.”
The concert will begin at 3 p.m. Donations will be taken at the door. For more information, call 780-5555.
