LEWISTON – Linda Patry, patient access manager at Central Maine Medical Center, has been named member of the year by the Maine Chapter of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management.

The award recognizes Patry’s contributions to the organization’s meetings; educational sessions; publications; fundraising efforts; member recruitment; certification and retention efforts; chapter development; and other activities. Nominees are made by the Maine chapter’s board of directors, with the final recipient being selected by popular vote of the entire membership.

Patry is vice president and president-elect of the Maine Chapter of AAHAM. She served as the organization’s secretary in 2006 and 2007.

A CMMC employee since 1991, Patry has served in various supervisory and management roles, including patient account supervisor and assistant property manager. She is currently studying for an associate’s degree in business administration at Central Maine Community College in Auburn. She is also co-owner and manager of Riverview Market & Café in Lewiston, a 24-seat café that serves breakfast and lunch.
