AUBURN – The grand opening of Riverside Millwork Center, 353 Riverside Drive, Auburn was celebrated on Dec. 2. Auburn Mayor John Jenkins joined owner Jim Murphy and others to officiate at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The Riverside Millwork Center is a collaboration of millwork businesses led by Pre-Hung Doors, Inc. and Maine Wood Moldings, LLC. The recently completed 3,500 square foot showroom also features professional kitchen design and cabinetry by Wood-Mode and Brookhaven, as well as custom cabinetry by its own on-site master cabinetmaker Roland Martin. Martin’s Ro-Mar custom wood cabinets have been handcrafted in Lewiston/Auburn for over 20 years.

Hardware, millwork, windows and doors are still a core product offering, with the ability to customize and pre-hang doors to accommodate a client’s needs, whether for a single door or a large scale commercial project.

The grand opening was celebrated with a daylong open house with refreshments, products demonstrations and door prizes. The grand prize was a trip for two to Florida, won by Rosemarie Marcotte and Louise Tardiff, who will enjoy a week at a private vacation home in Venice, Fla.
