LEWISTON – The wedding of Tricia Lizotte and Matthew Olson was held at 1 p.m. on May 17 at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. The Rev. Dan Greenleaf officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Olson is the daughter of Philip and Sharon Lizotte of Lisbon. Mr. Olson is the son of Roger and Rita Olson of Wayne.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white, A-line gown with black accent tails and carried a bouquet of red roses.

Samantha Brissette, best friend of the bride since childhood, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Vyr, cousin of the bride and Amanda Johnson and Jessica Bussiere, friends of the bride. Alex Olson, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Serving as best man was the brother of the bridegroom, Ryan Olson. Ushers were David and Scott Olson, brothers of the bridegroom, and Joel Desjardins, cousin of the bridegroom. Isaac Brissette, family friend of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to St. Lucia at the Sandals Resort. They are residing in Lisbon.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2008 graduate of St. Joseph’s College of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is currently employed as a staff nurse in the medical/surgical unit at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and attended the University of Maine at Farmington. He is currently employed at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center and Best Buy in Augusta.
