LIVERMORE FALLS – Junior guard Khyle Whittemore recorded 16 points as Livermore Falls climbed to a 65-48 victory over Carrabec in MVC boys’ basketball action Thursday.

The Andies (6-6) pounded out a 15-3 run in the second quarter for a 27-13 halftime lead. Derek Castonguay notched a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds for Livermore Falls.

The Cobras (3-8) kept pace in the second half, only falling back three points in the stanza. Senior guard Nate Manzer scored 14 points and R.J. Pinkham another 13.
