MANHASSET, N.Y. (AP) – Police on Long Island say a man had two cars stolen from him in one night.
Detectives say the victim told police that while he was dining at a restaurant in Manhasset someone took the keys from the valet station and stole his Mercedes.
Police say the victim also stated that inside the stolen Mercedes was a set of keys to a second car, a Porsche, that was parked in the driveway of his home.
Police say the victim called home and found out the Porsche had also been stolen.
Police believe the thieves used a GPS in the Mercedes to locate the victim’s address and the second car.
