LEWISTON – The 1850 Victorian home at 101 Pine St. that once housed Guy B. Dostie Funeral Home is in foreclosure, but the business continues to operate out of a new location on Lisbon Road.

Guy Dostie bought the Pine Street building in 2003. He took it over from the Fahey Funeral Home, which had operated there since 1937.

Dostie put the building and its 75 Pierce St. parking lot up for sale over a year ago. In September he moved his business to 2151 Lisbon Road.

After more than a year on the market, the Pine Street building hadn’t sold and Dostie couldn’t afford to keep both his old and his new locations. Androscoggin Bank foreclosed on the Pine Street building.

The building, which has two two-bedroom units on second and third floors, and commercial space on the first floor, will be sold at a public sale on Feb. 11.
