MANCHESTER, N.H. – Michelle Holmquist registered a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds to lead Central Maine Community College in a 92-64 Yankee Conference victory over Hesser College on Thursday.

The Mustangs (15-5) enjoyed a 28 point lead at the break along with a 16 point, six rebound performance from freshman forward Christy McAuliffe.

Britney Sally also hit double figures for the Mustangs with 10 points while Sara Martin and Kerri Harris each hit for eight.

Katie Edwards led the Blue Devils (7-14) with a game-high 30 points and Meghan O’Regan poured in 28.

UMA 92, EMCC 58

AUGUSTA – Deon Cheers had a triple-double in his last home game with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to lead Maine-Augusta to a 92-58 victory over Eastern Maine CC.

The Moose built a 48-35 lead by halftime. L.T. Williams scored a game-high 27 points and Moses Braithwaite added 15 for UMA. Adam Knowles led EMCC with 22 points.
