RUMFORD – Black Mountain will hold its second of three scheduled Hill Climbs on Friday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m.

There will be an up-to-500 class, up-to-699 class, up-to-899, 900-and-up and open classes. There will also be two classes for women. Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place in both men’s and women’s classes.

Pre-registration is encouraged since the last race filled up before the day of the races. Entries are limited and slots fill up quickly.

The riders don’t get to have all the fun; there is plenty of room for spectators as well. The Lodge will open at 4 p.m. for bib pick up and potential last-minute registration. Last minute registration is subject to space availability and end at 5 p.m.

All participants must sign a waiver, those under 18 years of age must have the signature of a parent or guardian. Registration forms are available on www.skiblackmountain.org

Gate and spectator fees are $3 for ages 6-12, $5 ages 13-and-over. Children under 5 are admitted free.
