Dear Sun Spots: What happened to the Clothes Horse? Last I knew it was at 336 Center St., Auburn. I still have a gift certificate from 2008 that I have not been able to redeem. I called their phone number and it’s not working. No forwarding information.

I really like their selection of clothes and accessories. I used to stop at their shop many years ago when they were in Bridgton, while I was vacationing at Sebago Lake State Park. My friend from Massachusetts and I could always count on finding something there.

Answer: Sun Spots left numerous messages for the former owner but has not received a response at this time. We do know that the store has closed, but we don’t have any information for those holding gift certificates.

Dear Sun Spots: You’ve helped me before, so I thought I would try again. I would like some old suitcases. Dear Sun Spots: The High Street Congregational Church, 106 Pleasant St., Auburn, has set April 18 for this year’s Fabric Supply Fair. The fair will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is the fair where crafters can rent a table for $15 and come in and sell all the supplies they bought but never used.

This fair is for the fabric and supplies only, not the finished products. For more information, call Judy McKinney at 753-0367. All calls are returned, however, in previous years some messages were unclear and I was unable to hear the name and phone number.
