MEXICO – The following incidents were handled by the Mexico Police Department.
Theft
A Hall Hill Road resident reported at 2:23 p.m. Feb. 25 the theft of a portable generator, air compressor and tools from the storage box in his pickup truck. He believes the theft took place on Feb. 23 when the vehicle was parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The items are valued at $1,200.
Attempted burglary
A Worthley Avenue resident reported someone tried to break into her home at 5:56 a.m. Feb. 18. A window was broken, valued at $150. Her barking dog apparently kept the person from entering the home.
