DIXFIELD – The following incident is under investigation by Dixfield police:
Someone driving a light-colored Chevrolet or Dodge pickup truck sideswiped a 1997 Jeep Wrangler as owner Bryan Knowles was attempting to back into his driveway on Weld Road. The incident occurred at 1:26 a.m. Feb. 23. The pickup truck driver left the scene.
Sgt. Jeff Howe said the Jeep had about $6,000 damage. He said police have leads.
