“CareerCenter Employment and Training Orientation” every Monday from 10 a.m.-noon, explains of training programs and career exploration.

“CareerCenter and Job Search Orientation” every Tuesday from 9 a.m.-noon, explains services and resources the CareerCenter offers. Attendees can also become registered for the CareerCenter job-matching system at the workshop.

“Resume Writing” March 9, from 1:30-3 p.m., and again on March 23, same time, explores the basics of résumés and applications. Those attending must bring their work and educational history.

“CareerCenter Youth Orientation” March 12, from 10 a.m.-noon, and again March 26, same time, is for youths 16-21 looking for a job.

“O*Net Ability Profiler” March 13, from 9 a.m.-noon, is a career exploration tool that helps clients plan work lives using paper and pencil.

“Preparing Your Resume For Online Applications” March 16, 1:30-3 p.m., and again March 30, same time, will help attendees format their resume so it can be attached to an on-line application. Bring work, educational history.

“Creating Your Professional Portfolio” March 19, from 10-11 a.m., allows people to document knowledge, skills and expertise.

“Ace That Interview!” March 19, from 1-3 p.m. helps participants prepare for a successful job interview.

“MEOC-101 – Essentials of College Planning” March 19, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., includes instructions on filling out financial aid forms to assist in getting grants or loans. To pre-register, call 1-800-281-3703.

A community college adviser is available every Monday from noon-4 p.m. to talk about options to attend college and help those attending to explore college choices based on interests and career goals.
