AUBURN – The following cases were closed recently in the Androscoggin County Superior Court:

James Kenneth Purcell, 36, Lewiston, gross sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact on Jan. 18, 2008, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, sentenced to five years with all but two years, six months suspended, probation four years.

Daniel E. Quimby, 39, Hartland, operating motor vehicle after revocation, carrying concealed weapon on Aug. 29, 2003, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to five months; second charge dismissed.

Bartley J. Ray, 30, Portland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, operating after habitual offender revocation-two priors, eluding an officer, theft by unauthorized use of property, driving to endanger on Dec. 30, 2007, all charges dismissed.

Kathryn L. Reagan, 19, Portland, criminal trespass on June 23, 2007, probation violation, sentenced to five days, probation partially revoked and continued.

Jennifer M. Redmond, 34, Raymond, operating after habitual offender revocation on May 30, 2008, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 30 days.

Thomas Reynolds, 31, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on April 11, 2005, found guilty, sentenced to one year with all but 30 days suspended, probation one year, six months, restitution of $3,230.16.

Thomas Jefferson Reynolds, 31, Lewiston, failure to appear after bailed on Jan. 9, 2008, found guilty, sentenced to 60 days.

Rodney S. Richardson, 38, Leeds, operating under the influence, driving to endanger on July 20, 2008, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $575, license suspended 30 days.

Darren Rider, 37, Lisbon, operating after habitual offender revocation on Feb. 14, 2007, dismissed.
