ARUBA – Pamela D. Cleaveland, 60, of Poland, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, while vacationing with her husband, George, in Aruba.

She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 4, 1949, the daughter of Walter and Eva (Constantine) Bilodeau. She attended local schools.

She married the love of her life, George H. Cleaveland Jr., on Dec. 18, 1968, in Elizabeth City, N.C. They moved their family to Auburn before finally settling in Poland.

For the last seven years she was the owner of MeMe and Me Daycare.

She loved gardening and shopping, but mostly she loved caring for children, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, George H. Cleaveland Jr.; her son, Christopher and his wife, Jennifer, of Poland; a brother, Walter Bilodeau of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Logan and Emily Cleaveland; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; and a son, Andy, in 1985.
