SOUTH PARIS – The Oxford County Agriculture Group is sponsoring a practical, hands-on workshop on how to use and effectively market a small business on March 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Western Maine University and Community College.

Scott Vlaun of Moose Pond Arts and Ecology will discuss how to create effective marketing materials, such as business cards and brochures. Lee Dassler of the Western Foothills Land Trust will talk about steps that need to be taken to market an agricultural business in rural Maine.

There is no fee for this workshop, but preregistration by March 20 is required by calling the Oxford County Extension Office at 1-800-287-1482 or 743-6329.
