CHELSEA, Mass. (AP) – A man who died after a freight elevator fell on him at a Chelsea produce market has been identified as a 35-year-old maintenance man from Tyngsboro.
The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office says Bruce Sinclair was working in the elevator shaft when the elevator fell and crushed him Friday afternoon.
The incident at State Garden Inc., a produce company located in the New England Produce Center, remained under investigation Sunday.
The district attorney’s office, Chelsea Police and U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration are reviewing the incident. No other injuries were reported.
