FARMINGTON – Saturday, March 28, the student improv group Lawn Chair Pirates will present a benefit for the Relay For Life of the University of Maine at Farmington.
Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.
The Lawn Chair Pirates puts on several outlandish performances each semester, always to packed houses. Also expected to appear is the Teachers’ Lounge Mafia, whose members will participate in a variety of games.
The Relay For Life of UMaine Farmington, April 10-11, is an all-night community event bringing together teams of families, friends, religious groups, neighborhoods and businesses – all with the goal of curing cancer in the new millennium.
The relay will begin at 8:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Auditorium of the Roberts LearningCenter on the UMF campus.
