GARDINER – The Maine Hysterical Society will present its comedy/variety show of novelty songs, funny Maine characters, “wicked good” juggling and wacky sketches Friday, March 20, as part of Sounds Good! Music Live at Johnson Hall.

This trio of artists/actors/musicians and Downeast humorists is made up of Randy Judkins, Barney Martin and Steve Underwood.

Judkins is a visual and character comedian who has performed in more than 25 U.S.states, Canada and Europe since 1975. He has appeared on local and national TV, instructed at the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey’s Clown College and taught master classes at the Juilliard School of Drama in New York City.

Martin has toured the British Isles and central France and played stages from New England to Colorado and in the Bahamas. Since the mid ’70s, he has worked as a singer/songwriter/entertainer as well as an actor in theater and on camera.

Underwood was one of the creators and performers of the musical “Radical Radio,” which premiered in Maine and toured nationally. In 2002, he and Brian P. Allen co-founded Good Theater, a professional company that has The St. Lawrence Arts Center in Portland as its permanent home.

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center, 280 Water St.
