• Sean Hutchins, 22, of 81 Mitchell St., Mechanic Falls, on charges of operating under the influence and refusal to submit to arrest, 12:49 a.m. Saturday on Elm Street in Mechanic Falls by the Mechanic Falls Police Department.

Accidents
Auburn

• A car driven by Joseph Michael Couture, 25, of Turner went over an embankment and onto ice, 4:10 a.m. Thursday on Lake Shore Drive. Damage to Couture’s 2005 Subaru was estimated at $20,000. It was towed.

• Vehicles driven by James Begert, 44, of Lewiston and Kenneth J. Ward, 50, of Oxford collided, 12:35 p.m. Friday on Court Street. Damage to Begert’s 2007 International truck was estimated at $2,500; to Ward’s 1998 Saturn, $3,000.

• Vehicles driven by Fartun F. Joma, 36, of Lewiston and Justin A. Milair, 19, of Windham collided, 12:20 p.m. Friday at Sunoco Optima gas station. Damage to the 2000 Dodge van driven by Joma and owned by Ali Omar Said of Lewiston was estimated at $7,000; to the 2001 Volkswagen driven by Milair and owned by Dana A. Milair of Windham, $8,000. Both vehicles were towed.
