Bob Fecteau, left, and Craig Millet of the Auburn Water District clean up after fixing a water main break on Center Street early Monday morning. “Our biggest concern was traffic,” Fecteau said. “But for Monday morning traffic, everything has been flowing smoothly.” The crew had been working on the problem since midnight and a fire hydrant was the only thing affected by the break. “It’s been a long night,” Millet said before leaving the scene. “Time for some sleep.”
